I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
It’s taken me longer than I figured to get the Christmas decorations up!
I finally finished the front of the house today.
I thought I’d show you my wreath that had a little “re-make” from last year.
To make last year’s wreath, I took an old, plain wreath, and added evergreen clippings from around the yard.
I used the wires on the wreath to secure the clippings.
I painted and glittered pinecones and used green twine to add them to the wreath.
Last year’s wreath ended up looking like this…
(You can see more of the details HERE)
I really liked how it looked, but this year, I’m using red in the front of the house.
So I took off the gold and added a red glitter star from the dollar store. I had to replace the yard clippings….obviously.
You can find these plain wreaths at thrift stores from $2-$5, and you can (most likely) find clippings and pinecones for free. The glitter star was from the dollar store = a Christmas wreath for under $6!
I hope you all had a restful and wonderful holiday!
