Hey everyone,
I’ve been on a “non-kid” get away with the hubs in the Portland area for the past 3 days.
It was awesome, and now I’m back, getting back into the swing of things.
Today, I’m sharing my name holders at The Southern Institute.
They are festive, easy to make and totally inexpensive, so hop on over to The Southern Institute and check them out!

I'm a wife, a sister, a daughter, a mother of 5, a Jesus lover, a coffee abuser, an obsesser of all things DIY, design and decor related.
Most of what you'll see here are ways to live inexpensively, and how I put those into practice with my constant need to renovate houses.
We are a military family of 7, so houses must come big and inexpensive, and made beautiful as we go, turning what most would see as trash, into treasure.
Thanks for stopping by, stay awhile and make yourself at home. I hope you enjoy my ideas.

No Kids . . .just hubby! I’m surpised you came back after only 3 days. I know I would have been tempted to make it last longer. LOL
Your placecards are so pretty. Love the star
Thanks Robin! Ya, we joked about running away, but I missed them after a couple days!

Love it! Love your house! Love your Christmas card! How do you do it? Merry Christmas!
Hey Kelly! Well, honestly I have about 1/3 of the cards out…and the house may be decorated, but is not at all clean. So….it’s not all done…ever, but who’s life really is? lol
Hope you’re doing good. Love seeing the blog updates!

That is really a cute idea. I am so glad you were able to get away for a couple of days without the kids. I am watching my grands this weekend so my daughter and her hubby can get away- xo Diana
You are a gem of a g-ma to watch the kiddos! It’s so nice to spend time without having 50 interruptions. Although I did miss them after the first day.
I nominated you for the Liebster Blog Award. Go here to read more about what you need to do:
