Top Posts of 2012

PicMonkey-Collage.1

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas.

It’s taken me awhile to get back in the swing of things here in the blogosphere.  Lots of Christmas things and lots of house showings have made for some late nights.

Anyways, time to show you my top posts for 2012.

As I started trying to narrow down my top 10, it was just about impossible.

I’ve switched blog names, URL’s, and then to WP, so trying to find what posts were viewed most, or what ones were pinned most on Pinterest is not going to be happening this year.

I guess I’ll just have to leave you with my personal top 10. It was a busy year. I had a hard time narrowing it down.

One thing I do know, is that this Kid’s Hands Wall Art was by far everyone’s favorite.

What I assumed would be a “cute” and simple post, turned out to be every mother, grandmother, and auntie’s love. I can’t remember what the pinning number was before I switched my blog name, but this post kept my site at 10,000 hits/day for quite awhile.

Now my personal favorite was my Master Bedroom Reveal. It seems like I finished it so long ago, but it’s completion is just shy of a year.

It is still my favorite room in the house, which is funny, because it’s not really my style.

I had a ton of room reveals this year. Proof that blogging makes me more productive.

Here’s the Office Reveal.

…and my Living Room Makeover.

There were other rooms that were finished, but these were my favorite.

Then there are a few of my favorite projects.

I have really enjoyed my Front Entry Makeover too.

The Basement Gallery Wall is another favorite that I want to repeat in whatever house we’re in next.

It’s been a great year. I can’t quite believe we got the house finished.

….and now I’m off to clean it for another showing.

Thanks for being such incredible viewers!

Here’s to 2013!

  9. I have tons of insulators that my daddy has collected over the years. I love your idea for them. I may have to use them as towel holders in my bathroom somehow. (The colors would be gorgeous in there.) Right now I have my three absolute favorites sitting on a dresser in my family room.
Here are three of the nearly thirty I have:

    • ok, once I saw the day of your party, I realize what happened and maybe you would have a good suggestion for me. I am wondering the best way to view my blog roll. When I was on Blogger, I viewed them on my sidebar, and then switched to Google reader, but Google Reader only let me add so many blogs. I quickly reached the maximum limit, so when I go to add them, if I add through GFC, it lets me add the blog, but I can’t go in and add any WP blogs by putting the URL in, or it will tell me I exceed the limit. I still had Anne and Heather’s blogs from their GFC connection, but always meant to go back and add everyone else’s who were hosts of your party. Anyways, I guess I totally forgot. Thanks for the reminder and let me know if you have any suggestions on the best way to view blogs. The only other way I know is to go through Bloglovin. I just need to find the time to switch everyone over!

  12. Hi Katie, These are all wonderful projects and I appreciate you sharing this at the Open House party. Check out this weeks party for your post featured. xx, Sherry
