I know we all start out with too many well-intended project plans in the new year.
As I looked through my 2012 projects, I noticed a few project “themes” that I enjoyed more than others.
So welcome to my “Must-Do” projects for 2013 series!
If you’ve followed me for awhile, you’ve probably seen most of these, but for many of you, you’ll find some new and fun ideas.
First on the list of “must-dos”:
1. Make a Banner
There is no hiding the fact that I LOVE banners and garlands. They are so quick and easy, and add so much character to a space.
Keep in mind that most of my banners are made from Dollar Store seasonal doilies.
I simply print out a word(s), cut them out, and glue them on the doilies. Can’t beat a banner for a buck!
Fall Banner
Spring Banner
A few ideas where to hang banners and garland are above dressers, mirrors, pianos, mantels, windows and shelves.
Valentine’s Coupon Banner
So if you’re looking for a quick, easy and inexpensive project, try one of these.
I’ve really enjoyed mine.

I'm a wife, a sister, a daughter, a mother of 5, a Jesus lover, a coffee abuser, an obsesser of all things DIY, design and decor related.
Most of what you'll see here are ways to live inexpensively, and how I put those into practice with my constant need to renovate houses.
We are a military family of 7, so houses must come big and inexpensive, and made beautiful as we go, turning what most would see as trash, into treasure.
Thanks for stopping by, stay awhile and make yourself at home. I hope you enjoy my ideas.

Each and every one of those is just darling. What cute ideas. Do you know why I have to reenter all my information every time I want to leave a comment…name…email…website? This is the only blog I have to do that on….not sure why. xo Diana
Well, I still haven’t been able to figure out why you have to add info. I’ve had a couple others check and they don’t have to. I asked the WP expert and she thinks it’s weird too. I’ll keep trying to figure it out!
Nope, no problem with yours. The WP sites I have trouble with are the ones that require me to log on with Gravatar, FB or Twitter before my comment will be accepted. Yours just lets me comment.
Love your cute banners!
Love it! These are so cute! I just got a Cricut for Christmas and making a banner is the first project on my list! These were very inspiring!
Karen
Glad they were inspiring. I Cricut would make them easy!
I love each of your banners. That is on my list of things to do also. I smiled when I saw the coupon – To Joel From Chloe. I had twin students last year – Joel and Chloe.
What a coincidence! Thanks for stopping by Carol!
