Yellow Doors…I heart you!

I’m in luck!

The house I’ll be moving into needs a paint job.

Does that sound strange?

You see, every other fixer I’ve ever purchased hasn’t needed a paint job. Can you believe that?

…and to top it off, one of them was pink!

(but we lived in Hawaii and there were only a few colors to choose from for that particular neighborhood).

Anyways, I know it’s easier to dream about colored exteriors, than to actually be scraping paint for days, but I’m excited about my color choices.

I’m pretty sure I’m going to go with a medium gray-brown with white or cream trim and a yellow door.

Even though I’m over the yellow and grey for interiors (I think I over-did it in my house for the past couple years),

I can’t help but love it for the outside!

I had to throw in a couple blue ones too. If I lived near the sea, I would be sure to paint the house blue.

…but I don’t, so gray it will be.

Aren’t those colors beautiful?

I can’t wait to start scraping!
